Joshua Maxwell Case Affirmed

San Antonio, Texas:

The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals today affirmed the death conviction of Joshua Maxwell. Maxwell was tried for the killing on October 11, 2000, of Sheriff’s Deputy Rudolf Lopes. The sentence was handed down by a jury on March 11, 2002, in the 186^th District Court.
